this week in other places… and times...

I realized I was not so much a nerd as one who is nerd-adjacent.  Then I had my first Doctor Who experience. 

Afterwards I discussed the great feminist impact of the VMAs (with the exception of the guy who presented the rock category).  And also felt quite ancient about the 90s being “the good old days”.

Finally I talked about everything being the same old song and dance at the Emmys but this time with bonus Sherlock!

Then last night I was asked on the Awesome Friday podcast to discuss the harassment of Anita Sarkeesian & Zoe Quinn.  We discussed overall misogyny in nerd culture, Men’s Rights Activists, my views that we are in Fourth Wave Feminism and the importance of men getting involved and holding themselves accountable.
