Cessy's - "Taco. Burrito. Great."

If you ever find yourself near Carlsbad, or even not that near but willing to drive for wicked food you need to check out Cessy’s.  It’s a local surfer & skater favourite, and for good reason.  Don’t let the 3 parking spaces next to a dive liquor store sway you, it’s amazing.  

I had been out driving around all day and suddenly was starving.  I wasn’t familiar with anything around and felt like Mexcian food.  When I saw this tiny place on the corner with a sign saying “TACO BURRITO GREAT” my stomach decided it was time to take a risk.  I was all alone in the place and felt like an idiot reading the menu in front of the 1 girl working there.  I didn’t want to look like even more of a tourist asking what certain foods were so I did what any starving person would do… picked something at random.  It worked.  I’m still dreaming about their carne asada burrito.
